This needs to get added to my Best Books of 2006 list! I enjoy how Ptolemy is a teenager and a genius- something which I don't think the books did as well- and the little details that show his affection for Bartimaeus/Rekhyt. Ptolemy's Gate by Jonathan Stroud. In this conclusion to the Trilogy, Bartimaeus is weak from working too much, but Nathaniel won't let him go. The Bartimaeus Trilogy: The Golem's Eye - Book #2. Bartimaeus was AMAZING as usual but I wanted more of him and less of Kitty.Some parts were a little boring and the book could easily have been a little shorter. And what class Stroud writes with!
